At Hemlington Hall Primary School we provide excellent education from the age of three to eleven. Our classrooms are well equipped, modern and spacious. We are extremely well resourced and the majority of classes only have 21 pupils. Every class not only has a teacher, but also the additional support of a part-time classroom assistant.
Our staff work hard to provide a happy and caring environment where all the children can feel secure and achieve their potential both socially and academically. At Hemlington Hall we are committed to continually raising our standards. This has been recognised by the Department of Education in awarding us numerous School Achievement Awards. This gave recognition to our success.
We actively encourage partnership with parents. This is based upon mutual trust and respect. The school has a Home/School Agreement, which outlines the responsibilities of this partnership. Throughout the year we offer many varied opportunities for parents to come in to school. This enables parents, children and staff to work happily together.
We also offer state of the art ICT facilities, which enable pupils to produce excellent work across the curriculum. Additionally, children can be involved in animation work, film and multimedia presentations. Each classroom has the use of up to 6 laptops, and there's a dedicated ICT room to use.
There are many after school clubs and activities, including football, netball, yoga, computer club for girls, digital video club, fine art, and table tennis club. Find out more about the clubs here.
