We have had a very positive start to the school year in the Foundation Stage. The Reception Class children were stars! We had no tears when they started school (only from the parents!!) Infact they had their new starter photograph published in the Evening Gazette!

The Nursery has admitted several new children to the afternoon session whom have also had a favourable beginning to their school life. Each child was given a treasure chest box from Sure Start which contained a selection of books and tips for parents.

The children have enthusiastically participated in many different activities, including walking to the local shops in order to purchase the necessary food for our Teddy Bears Picnic. Unfortunately the picnic had to be indoors due to the weather but the children (and their bears) thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Currently the children are having great delight exploring the computers in the areas and using the Digital Blue camera to record and make their own films and stories. We will upload some of our videos on to the website soon, for you all to see!
